… And advance notice of Art At Wingrave 2024, Friday 22-24th November
‘Bucks Art Weeks’ (BAW) 2024 at home here, Field View Studio, https://www.bucksartweeks.org.uk/ has once again been a joyous June celebration of all things art – with enthusiasm from eight other participating Artists and Makers invited and keen to join with us as a group event.
Participating in this County-wide occasion, underpinned by Buckinghamshire’s VIG (Visual Images Group), yields such a sense of joie de vivre and inspiration, with over 300 participants at very many venues across the region. We opened for three week-ends (and two Fridays) and report a wonderful footfall during all 8 days, with some folk staying around for over two hours, enjoying both art and garden and cake of course! And this year, in addition to being ‘served’ by the extensive BAW catalogue, we were part of a local ‘Trail’, with its own bespoke map and artist listing, embracing six local venues.
So looking ahead to Art At Wingrave, November, expect to meet again some of your favourite participants and look forward to seeing New Artists and New Work: Ceramics, Ceramic and Paper Sculptures, Textiles, Glass Art, Designer Lamps, Pencil and Pastel Portraiture, Photography, Furniture Design, Hand-turned Wood, and Mixed Media Paintings for starters…
