I wonder what a census figure would show if a count was made as to the number of walkers who take this route, often daily? Beyond the copse lies an expanse of landscape leading to the tiny hamlet of Crafton (Buckinghamshire, UK).

The name of the hamlet is Anglo-Saxon in origin and means ‘farm where the saffron grows’.
