with ‘Escape to the Country’ at Field View Studio

Escape to the Country’ is our very popular UK television property-buying programme, commonly referred to as “Escape”. It offers an idyllic look into rural Britain’s property market, giving urban homeowners an insight into a prospective country life.

The format of the show revolves around potential home buyers searching for their dream homes in rural UK areas, including our lovely village of Wingrave (June 2023).

Since the show consistently ranks as the top-rated program in its time slot on BBC 1 and has a significant global social media presence, we were pleased to be invited to take part;  rather short notice however, only two days in fact! We provided the local feature – the filming coinciding with Buckinghamshire Art Weeks.

As local residents involved in this special Art event (at our home Field View Studio and with six other artists exhibiting with us across the two week period) there was much for the BBC and guests to see and enjoy. So with some degree of trepidation we underwent an afternoon of filming, no guarantee of the outcome!

But ‘Escape’ came up trumps, and along with house-hunters Jack and Emma, we’re featured in Series 24 Episode 29 ‘Buckinghamshire Borders’.
